Thank you for this! I work to encourage Christian parents, pastors and youth leaders to say no to smartphones, tablets, video games and social media for kids. The data clearly says these things are harming our kids. Schaeffer explains the why is such a powerful way. We must recognize that we are eternal beings made in the image of God and this spiritual reality is being clouded by modernity. Our kids need us to wake up.
Paul' words to the Corinthians are appropriate here, "But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ". There is a simple road back, Recognize from where we have fallen and pursue the only thing that satisfies, "Come to me all you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest".
Grateful you continue to shine a light in the places we don't want to look.

Anthony,
Ouch, that hurt.
Nothing like wondering “what the heck’s wrong” and seeing the answer in the mirror.
Thank you (and Schaeffer) for pointing out the frog boiling in the pot. Maybe the lobsters too.
Thanks for the kudos!
