I was out with friends last night, and we were discussing some of the obstacles that discourage young men from getting married at a young age, as many once did.
I think this is among one of the saddest trends to watch in American culture right now. There is a profound failure of imagination on why marriage/parenting is among the highest of earthly goods to pursue and enjoy. I spend a lot of my time trying to convince people that a young bride or groom is among the best gifts you could ever have (assuming that their is good counsel and shepherding for both as they prepare to be wed).
